These terms govern your use of the ELP Coach mobile application (the "App") and the elpcoach.com website. By creating an account or using the App you accept these terms.
ELP Coach is an English practice tool for commercial drivers. It helps you recognize and answer the questions, commands and signs an officer may use at a roadside stop. It is not legal advice, does not guarantee the outcome of any inspection or stop, and does not replace compliance with federal or state regulations. An officer's decision depends on many factors outside the App.
You need an account with an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old.
Full access requires a paid subscription (monthly, quarterly or annual) purchased and managed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Each plan includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers; if you don't cancel before it ends, the store charges you for the chosen plan. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your store settings. Refunds are governed by Google Play or Apple policies.
When you answer with your voice, the recording is sent to our server and to an artificial intelligence provider to be transcribed and evaluated. We keep the transcript and the result to show your progress. We do not keep the audio file after evaluation. See the Privacy Policy.
You may not copy, resell, extract or redistribute the App's content (phrases, translations, audio, signs), attempt to access systems or accounts that are not yours, or use the App while driving.
Voice evaluation is unlimited for normal personal use. To protect the service we apply fair-use limits that a person practicing does not reach: up to 10 evaluations per phrase per day and 3,000 minutes of recordings per month. Automated or shared use of an account is not allowed.
The App, its content and its brand belong to ELP Coach. Road signs are based on public-domain MUTCD designs.
We may update the App and these terms; we will notify you of important changes inside the App. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, Delete account.
The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, ELP Coach is not liable for indirect damages or for consequences arising from an inspection, stop, penalty or loss of license. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the subscription in the last 12 months.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
