Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data ELP Coach collects, why, and who it is shared with. Written to be understood, not for lawyers.

What we collect

• Account: your email and an encrypted password. Nothing else is needed to create an account.
• Practice: which phrases you practice, your score, the transcript of what you said and the feedback we gave. This is what powers your progress.
• Voice: when you tap the microphone, your recording is sent to our server and processed by an artificial intelligence provider (OpenAI) to transcribe and evaluate it. The audio is not kept after evaluation; the transcript is.
• Purchases: your subscription status, through Google Play or Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We never see your card.
• Errors: if the App crashes, a technical report (phone model, version, where it failed) is sent to Sentry so we can fix it. No practice content is included.
• Reminders: if you enable them, they are scheduled on your phone. We do not use a notification server.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data or show advertising.
• We do not share your progress with your employer or any authority.
• We do not use your location.
• We do not use your voice to train artificial intelligence models.

Who it is shared with

Only the providers needed to run the App: Supabase (database and accounts), OpenAI (voice transcription and evaluation), RevenueCat and the stores (subscriptions), Sentry (crash reports), Resend (account emails). Each processes data under its own data protection agreement.

Your rights

You can view and delete your progress in the App. You can delete your whole account in Settings, Delete account: your account, progress and transcripts are removed within 30 days. You can request a copy of your data or its deletion by emailing support@elpcoach.com.

Children

The App is for adult commercial drivers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we will notify you inside the App.
